Frequently Asked Questions
What is the time commitment?
One hour per week. One week you come to class; the next week you watch the videos for the upcoming class (maybe 20-30 minutes), put in minimal daily work for the challenges, and finish other small assignments.
What are the challenges?
We have two 28 day challenges in the Boss Semester. The entire group does them at the same time. They are personalized by you and take minimal daily effort to accomplish.
What happens at the trainings?
The Trainings are a combination of group discussion and personal or small group exercises.
When are the trainings held?
We meet on alternating Sundays at 4-5 pm. The first session is Sept, 14, 2025. There are seven sessions this semester, and the last one is December 7.
What if I have to miss a training?
We will post the Training work on the BOSS online community website, and you can finish it by yourself or with a friend.
What if I want to decide if I’m in after I come to a training?
You can do that. But, we really want you to get the whole experience on the first day, so you need to create a login and watch the 3 videos before you come. If you decide after the first Training that this is not for you, then just let us know and we will delete your membership.
What if I am going to be gone a lot, and I might miss 3 or more classes?
This is not the right time for you to join BOSS. Come back next semester. We join the students into cohorts, and when you are missing, you change the experience for the group. We want to minimize this as much as possible.
What time should I get to the iHub building for trainings?
Please come 10 minutes early as we want to keep it to one hour, so we will start right at 4 pm. We don’t want you to miss anything, and we want you to maximize your time with your cohort.
Do I need any supplies?
No.
What if I have a standing conflict and can’t get there right at 4 pm?
